First time it appears in a pokemon battle between ash and drake, Secondly, it is visible in groudon and kyogre series, when lance uses his dragonite to catch red gyarados. Iris also has rogue dragonite, it has male dragonite. Which is a notably hostile personality and was initially difficult for Iris to train.
