The 50 Greatest Books for Teens of All Time, Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower (1999) ... Frank McCourt's Angela's Ashes (1996)... Benjamin Alire Sáenz's Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (2012) Ta-Nehisi Coates's Between the World and Me (2015)  John Green's The Fault in Our Stars (2012 Great Book for Teens want to read inspiring novels that can help them achieve their goals in many ways. Aside from that, they prefer competitive books and science fiction books. Some youngsters enjoy reading novels about love, societal ideals, supernatural powers, or historical events.
